The present invention relates to a binder composition for a secondary battery comprising conjugated diene latex particles (A) having an average particle diameter of 50 nm to 200 nm existing as separate phases and Acrylic-based copolymer latex particles (B) having an average particle diameter of 300 nm to 700 nm, wherein the acrylic-based copolymer latex particles (B) are contained in an amount of 1 wt % to 30 wt % in terms of solid content. When the binder composition according to the present invention is applied to an electrode mixture and a lithium secondary battery, it is possible to maintain excellent adhesive strength between electrode materials and between electrode materials and current collectors, which are subjected to The volume changes, and a secondary battery having excellent initial capacity and efficiency can be provided.
