abstract | The invention discloses a method for preparing carboxylate compounds, that is, a compound containing 1,3-di-tert-butylimidazolinium cation with the molecular formula [( t BuNCH 2 CH 2 N t Bu)CH][FeBr 4 ] The ionic iron (III) complex is used as a catalyst, and di-tert-butyl peroxide is used as an oxidant, and is synthesized by oxidative cross-coupling reactions of carboxylic acids with alkylbenzene, methyl heterocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and allyl hydrocarbons, respectively. The corresponding benzyl carboxylate or allyl carboxylate. The applicable carboxylic acid substrates of the present invention relate to aliphatic carboxylic acids, aromatic carboxylic acids and heterocyclic carboxylic acids, and the applicable hydrocarbon compounds relate to benzyl type compounds and allyl type compounds. This is the first example of the preparation of carboxylic acid esters by the oxidative cross-coupling reaction of carboxylic acid and alkylbenzene, methyl heterocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and allyl hydrocarbons realized by iron-based catalysts, which is more important than that reported in the literature.
