titleOfInvention Antisense Oligonucleotide Compositions
abstract The present invention relates to antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) compositions, and in particular to compositions and methods for cytoplasmic delivery of antisense oligonucleotides (ASO). A partially single-stranded and partially double-stranded hybrid ASO is provided that hybridizes to form a double-stranded region that can non-covalently bond to the nucleic acid binding protein region. In this way, ASO::protein complexes can be produced that facilitate delivery of antisense DNA into target cells. Such complexes can be used to downregulate gene expression in cells.
