abstract The invention discloses an early biomarker for auxiliary diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke, which is microRNA-27a-3p in plasma. The invention also discloses a gene chip evaluation method and a real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR (polymerase chain reaction) evaluation method of the plasma microRNA-27a-3p serving as the early biomarker for auxiliary diagnosis of the acute ischemic stroke. By adopting combination of a gene chip and a real-time quantitative PCR technology, a differential expression of the plasma microRNA-27a-3p is discovered. On the basis of the differential expression, the diagnostic efficiency of the microRNA-27a-3p for the acute ischemic stroke is investigated. An experimental result shows that the expression level of the plasma microRNA-27a-3p in plasma of an acute ischemic stroke patient is significantly lower than that in a healthy person, and a critical value and the sensitivity and specificity of the microRNA-27a-3p for auxiliary diagnosis of the acute ischemic stroke patient are preliminarily determined.
