abstract The invention belongs to the biotechnology field, and particularly relates to a preparation method for a polyethylene glycol-modified TRAIL recombinant protein. A tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) is adopted as an inducing ligand. A chemical modification method is adopted as the preparation method. The preparation method comprises the following steps of 1 HZ-TRAIL preparation; 2 HZ-TRAIL extraction and purification; 3 PEG-HZ-TRAIL preparation; 4 PEG-HZ-TRAIL purification. According to the preparation method for the polyethylene glycol-modified TRAIL recombinant protein, through the method that a TRAIL recombinant gene is improved into a novel PEG-HZ-TRAIL recombinant protein through a PEGylation technique, so that the trimerical high-activity TRAIL protein is prepared; in addition, the advantage of achieving the high pharmacological efficacy on resisting tumors and rheumatoid arthritis is achieved by modifying the tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand through polyethylene glycol.
