abstract |
The present invention provides methods for detecting therapeutically relevant or higher amounts of an anticoagulant in a patient. The invention also includes a method of classifying an anticoagulant as an anti-Factor Xa anticoagulant or a direct thrombin inhibitor using an agglutination assay in the presence of a viper venom agent. The present invention also provides methods for detecting and classifying therapeutically relevant or higher amounts of anticoagulants in a patient. The invention further includes methods for identifying and classifying an anticoagulant as an anti-Factor Xa anticoagulant in the presence of a Factor Xa agent. |
