titleOfInvention | Probe of an ultrasound imaging device and method for manufacturing the same |
abstract | A probe of an ultrasound imaging device and a method for manufacturing the probe are disclosed. The probe includes: a piezoelectric unit including a piezoelectric body and electrodes; a printed circuit board (PCB) unit having a PCB formed on a side surface of the piezoelectric unit; a matching layer formed on the front surface of the piezoelectric unit and the PCB unit; A liner is formed on the rear surface of the piezoelectric unit and the PCB unit. The probe and method thereof can reduce the variation of ultrasonic characteristics caused by the PCB by not disposing the PCB between the piezoelectric body, the matching layer and the backing layer. The PCB is arranged on the side surface of the piezoelectric body, which can increase the impact strength. Single crystals can be used as piezoelectrics, resulting in probes with large bandwidths, and can transmit and receive low- and high-frequency ultrasound signals. The probe and the method of manufacturing the probe can easily perform channel division of the ultrasonic module, and can make the divided acoustic module have a certain curvature, so that it can be applied to various technical fields without being limited to the shape of the probe. |
