abstract | The invention belongs to the technical field of mass spectrometry analysis and test, and particularly relates to a cascade mass spectrometry analysis method for a low mass cutoff value of an ion trap. The method comprises three stages of ion selective isolation, collision induced dissociation and mass analysis. In the collision induced dissociation stage, linear scanning is carried out from low frequency to high frequency by scanning the frequency of a digital square wave power supply, and a certain excitation square wave voltage is loaded simultaneously in the implementation process, so that the excitation and the dissociation of the analyzed parent ions are realized, and the low-mass fragment ion products of the parent ions can be detected. The invention has the advantages that the frequency change of the digital square wave power supply can be realized through software control without changing hardware and equipment, and the main difficulty of low mass number detection in the tandem mass spectrometry process of the traditional ion trap mass spectrometer is solved; the tandem mass spectrum dissociation efficiency of the ion trap mass spectrometer is further improved, fragment ion information is enriched, and the analysis of a parent ion structure is facilitated; thereby improving the performance and the application field of the ion trap mass spectrometer. |
