abstract The invention discloses application of the rice microRNA osa-miR530 in terms of reducing Plant Height of Rice.The present invention amplifies the precursor sequence of rice microRNA osa-miR530, forward direction is connected on plant expression vector pCAMBIA1390-ubi by PCR method;Genetic transformation is carried out again into rice, obtains the transgenic rice plant of rice microRNA osa-miR530 expression enhancing.In the T3 of transgenosis for finding in plant, the plant height of vegetative growth phase and maturity period positive transgenic rice plant is significantly lower than nontransgenic plants: in vegetative growth phase, the plant height of transgenic paddy rice is about the 78-83% of non-transgenic rice;In the maturity period, the plant height of transgenic paddy rice is about the 80% of non-transgenic rice.
