The present invention relates to a method for the solid-state synthesis of ceramic materials, in particular oxide materials or cuprates, the method comprising or consisting of the steps of providing an effective amount of starting material to produce ceramic material, and thereafter, subjecting said material to treatment by utilizing a solid-state reaction in the starting material, said reaction being carried out by irradiating said material with at least one light source with ultraviolet light. The invention also relates to a method for producing thin films and to the use of this method for producing high-temperature superconductors. |
