abstract Disclosed are a piezoelectric material, a piezoelectric element, a method for manufacturing the piezoelectric element, and an electronic device. The present invention can provide a lead-free piezoelectric material having a piezoelectric constant in the room temperature range. For this reason, the present invention is a piezoelectric material comprising a main component including a perovskite-type metal oxide represented by the following general formula (1), a first auxiliary component containing Mn, and a second auxiliary component containing trivalent Bi. Composition, Ba a (Ti 1-x Zr x )O 3 (1) wherein 0.02≤x≤0.13 and 0.986≤a≤1.02, wherein the amount of Mn contained is 0.0020 mol or more per 1 mol of metal oxide and 0.0150 mol or less, and the amount of Bi contained is 0.00042 mol or more and 0.00850 mol or less with respect to 1 mol of the metal oxide.
