abstract | The invention discloses a cancer target peptide used for improving anticancer drug delivery and medical effect. Specifically, the present invention provides a peptide target conjugate comprising: a) an isolated or synthesized target peptide with a length of less than 15 amino acid residues, which comprises an amino acid sequence of at least 90 % is equivalent to a sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs: 1, 2, and 3; and b) a component, which is conjugated to the target peptide, selected from the group consisting of drug delivery vehicles, anticancer drugs, Microcells, nanoparticles, liposomes, polymers, lipids, oligonucleotides, peptides, polypeptides, proteins, cells, imaging agents, and labeling agents. The conjugate may further comprise an anticancer agent, which is encapsulated within the drug delivery vehicle. The present invention also discloses compositions and methods for treating cancer. |
