abstract | The invention discloses a melon seedling matrix prepared from cassava stalks and a preparation method of the melon seedling matrix. The melon seedling matrix comprises the following components: two cassava stalks with different lengths, wherein the volume ratio of the two cassava stalks is 1 to (1-3); the two cassava stalks with different lengths comprise the cassava stalks of which the particle sizes are 0-1mm and 1-5mm; the ratio of the cassava stalks of which the particle sizes V are 1-5mm to the cassava stalks of which the particle sizes V are less than 1mm is 1 to (1-3). According to the melon seedling matrix, the physical properties of original matrix and the release speed of nutrition are improved; the prepared melon seedling matrix is abundant in raw material; the problem of shortage of necessary materials (turf/peat, coco coir and the like) for seedling in the melon industry is relieved; the melon seedling matrix is simple in preparation technology, low in cost, easy to produce and popularize on a large scale, and abundant in nutrition; a chemical fertilizer does not need to be added in the seedling process; the seedling effect is good; the melon seedling matrix can completely replace the turf (peat) and coco coir for seedling melons; the problem of falling of the matrix in a transplanting process is solved; the survival rate of transplanted seedlings is improved. |
