abstract | Disclosed is a method for producing a lubricant oil base oil, which comprises: a first step of carrying out a 13C-NMR analysis of each of oils to be treated and then selecting an oil among the oils on the basis of a value produced by dividing an integral value of a peak assigned to a tertiary carbon atom by an integral value of all of peaks appearing at 0 to 50 ppm, a value produced by dividing an integral value of a peak assigned to a carbon atom constituting a hydrocarbon main chain by an integral value of all of peaks appearing at 0 to 50 ppm, and a value produced by dividing an integral value of a peak assigned to a branch CH3, which is bound to a carbon atom located at the fifth position as numbered from the terminal carbon atom or is bound to a carbon atom located inwardly from the aforementioned carbon atom in the hydrocarbon main chain, by an integral value of all of peaks appearing at 10 to 25 ppm in 13C-NMR spectra obtained by the analysis; and a second step of isomerizing and dewaxing the oil that is selected in the first step, thereby producing a dewaxed oil. |
