abstract |
The present invention describes the synthesis of a novel class of gem-difluorinated C-glycoside compounds derived from podophyllotoxins, which can be used in oncology, but not limited to, for the treatment of cancer. More specifically, podophyllotoxin gem-difluorinated C-glycosyl-conjugated derivatives exhibit improved conformational and chemical stability and improved cytotoxicity against drug-resistant cancer cell lines. |
