abstract The invention relates to a high-solid fluorocarbon paint and a preparation method thereof. The paint is mainly used in protecting metal and nonmetal materials in engineering machinery, bridges, marine engineering and the like. The technical scheme of the paint comprises a paint formula and a preparation method of the paint. The paint comprises polymers such as low-polymerization-degree polychlorotrifluoroethylene resin, low-viscosity hydroxylpolysiloxane resin and fluorine-modified hydroxylvinyl resin, a high-activity low-viscosity crosslinking agent, an organic-inorganic coloring pigment, an inorganic filling material, an organic solvent, a dispersing agent, a thickening agent, a defoaming agent and a leveling agent. According to the production specifications of the paint, the volume solid percentage of the paint is no lower than 80%; an airless spray diluent dose is no higher than 5%; and a solvent dose is reduced by higher than 60% compared to a traditional fluorocarbon paint. With the paint, organic solvent discharge is greatly reduced. Other performances of the paint are same as traditional fluorocarbon paints.
