titleOfInvention | Application of the nanometer selenium as I125 particle radiotherapy sensitizer |
abstract | The invention discloses application of the nanometer selenium as I125 particle radiotherapy sensitizer. The tumor-targeting nanometer selenium (SeNPs) of nanometer selenium, polysaccharide and chitosan-modified nanometer selenium, folic acid and Surface-modified by Transferrin is prepared using PEG dissolvings elemental selenium by the present invention.SeNPs has I125 stimuli responsive characteristic, and it can be formed and acted synergistically with gamma-rays caused by I125, there is efficient inhibition to the breast cancer cells of MCF 7 in cell experiment and mouse experiment in vivo in vitro, while also can substantially suppress the propagation of the various kinds of cell such as human cervical carcinoma cell Hela, melanoma cells A375, breast cancer cell MCF 7 and brain glioblastoma cell C6.Its mechanism is mainly the accumulation by strengthening reactive oxygen species, and then inducing cell cycle arrest and apoptosis of tumor cells. As a result prompt, SeNPs can be developed as novel radiation treatment sensitizer. |
