The present invention relates to an enhanced intra prediction mode signaling. A method and apparatus for signaling and receiving video signals for processing is disclosed. A method of determining the most probable mode for predicting a current prediction block and a new method of grouping intra prediction modes into prediction groups are provided. Methods of predicting a prediction block of video data and signaling an intra prediction mode are also provided. |
