abstract |
The application discloses a drug-coated inflatable balloon catheter (200) configured to vibrate. Vibration can remove the drug from the balloon. Vibration can also enhance drug delivery to deeper layers of the vessel wall. The balloon catheter can include one or more support wires. The support wire can be connected to the ultrasonic transmission part (120). The ultrasonic transmission member is capable of transmitting ultrasonic vibrations to the support wire and/or the balloon wall. |
