abstract | The container used to incubate the test sample comprises a molded monolithic single layer polymer container body having an upwardly extending, visually transparent wall having an inner surface and a wall between about 0.2 mm and 10 mm thickness. The container also has a thin gas barrier coating comprising silica on the inner surface of the sealed container body and an inner top coating on the gas barrier coating. The gas barrier coating and top coat are visually clear (after curing). The container includes a lid sealably attachable to the container body. The sealed container has an oxygen transmission rate (OTR) between about 0.0001 to about 0.04 (cc/pack/day/atm) after autoclaving and aging. |
