titleOfInvention Silicone gel adhesive with hydrophilic and antimicrobial properties
abstract The present invention provides an adhesive composition comprising a cross-linked silicone gel, a hydrophilic component dispersed in the silicone gel, and an anti-aging component dispersed in the silicone gel. Microbial agent. The adhesive composition is easy to apply to the skin (and easy to remove), and has the desired hydrophilic and antimicrobial properties. Advantageously, the hydrophilic components of the cross-linked silicone gel are not easily extracted (eg, in a pH 7 buffer). Surprisingly, the combination of a hydrophilic component and an antimicrobial agent in the crosslinked silicone gel can provide a synergistically enhanced level of antimicrobial activity.
