abstract | The present invention relates to immunogenic compositions comprising isolated C. difficile CDTb and/or CDTa proteins. In particular, the isolated C. difficile CDTb protein is suitably a truncated CDTb protein comprising a receptor binding domain or a mutated CDTb protein incapable of binding CDTa, and the isolated C. difficile CDTa protein is suitably one that does not contain C Truncated CDTa protein of the terminal domain. In particular, the present invention also relates to a fusion protein comprising a CDTa protein and a CDTb protein and a fusion protein between an isolated C. difficile toxin A protein and/or an isolated C. difficile toxin B protein fused to a CDTb protein.
