Methods and materials for detection of biological substances |
abstract |
Provided herein are methods of detecting biological substances in a sample. Detection is based on the formation of aggregates. The disclosed compositions include marker particles and/or aggregation particles. The labeling particle and the aggregation particle can each include a receptor bound to the particle. Receptors can be attached to the particle directly, or indirectly via a linker. One method of detection may be visual and another method of detection may include advanced quantification of aggregates formed. |
