abstract The invention discloses a sectional type ring direction temperature control unsaturated soil column testing apparatus. The testing apparatus is characterized in that each ring direction temperature control soil sample ring is fixed with a base; each soil sample ring is filled with a soil sample in a layered way, the multiple ring direction temperature control soil sample rings are in bolted connection to form a model drum, the side face of each temperature control ring is provided with two flow guide holes connected with flow guide pipes, and the temperature control rings are connected with a temperature control system by means of the flow guide pipes; the temperature control system keeps temperature constancy in a water tank by means of a constant temperature water cooling/warming machine, and circular flowing of constant temperature water in the temperature control rings is realized by means of a circulating pump. Soil column temperature is controlled in a sectional way by means of the mutually independent temperature control rings, a time period for a soil column to generate temperature gradient is shortened, multiple temperature gradient models can be simulated, and the aim of researching a moisture movement process under different temperature gradient actions is achieved.
