titleOfInvention Production method of diosgenin
abstract The invention provides a production method of diosgenin. The production method comprises the steps of washing fresh yam, then smashing, and filter pressing to obtain 90 percent of filter liquor of the yam; fermenting fibrous residue after filter pressing, smashing and rubbing-pressing, and then separating nonsoap aglucone in washed fibers to obtain the rest 10 percent of filter liquor of the yam; mixing the two filter liquors, settling, recycling clear liquid, recycling starch, and concentrating settled saponin slurry, wherein the mass-to-volume ratio is 1 kg: 1000 ml; taking the concentrated saponin slurry, adjusting the concentration of hydrochloric acid for hydrolyzing to be 0.15 mol/L to 0.2 mol/L, hydrolyzing for 10 to 16 hours by keeping the temperature of 90 to 98 DEG C, separating out 80 percent of a supernate after hydrolyzing in step A, enabling the supernate to enter an alcoholic fermentation procedure; in step B, adding hydrochloric acid into lower-layer thick slurry of step A, so that the acid concentration reaches 0.5 mol/L, continuously keeping the temperature of 90 to 98 DEG C for 18 to 20 hours, filtering to obtain an acidolysis solution, and neutralizing the acidolysis solution to enter a biochemistry procedure; washing and drying the filtered material to obtain a hydrolysate, and entering an extraction procedure to obtain the diosgenin. The yield of the diosgenin is improved, the yield of domestic yellow ginger in the same batch is improved to 0.74 percent from 0.65 percent, and the yield of wild yellow ginger is improved to 1.1 percent from 0.9 percent.
