The present invention relates to a method for isolating stem cells, comprising the preparation of a cell suspension from cervical tissue, to stem cells isolated by said method and to a conditioned medium obtained from a culture of said stem cells. The invention also encompasses the use of the stem cells or conditioned medium for the treatment or prevention of cancer, precancerous lesions, inflammatory diseases, autoimmune diseases, chronic disorders or infectious diseases, diseases associated with tissue loss, or in Diagnosis, prognosis or treatment of fertility disorders, and use in cosmetic treatments. |
