abstract | The invention relates to a method for manufacturing an array of thin film solar cells, wherein a plurality of individual thin film solar cells are applied to a substrate. The individual thin-film solar cells are partially deposited one on top of the other such that an overlapping region is produced from the pair of two individual thin-film solar cells; in this region there is a series connection of the two thin-film solar cells forming the pair. In addition, the array of thin-film solar cells has a transition region in which the thin-film solar cells applied to the first solar cell are converted into the underlying layer. |
