abstract The present invention relates to testosterone derivatives of formula (I): wherein n is an integer from 1 to 10, and Y represents an activated or to-be-activated group which allows the formation of an amide bond with a primary amine of the molecule. The present invention also relates to conjugates consisting of these testosterone derivatives and markers, and their use in determining the concentration of testosterone in a biological sample. Finally the invention relates to a process for the preparation of testosterone derivatives.
