The tower-type sewage treatment unit mainly which comprises a sewage treatment tower and an oil-water separation tower, wherein the sewage treatment tower is mounted in a first liquid storage container; a plurality of layers of filter screens are mounted in the sewage treatment tower; a treatment fluid spout is mounted in the middle of each filter screen; the top of the sewage treatment tower is connected with a position below the top of the oil-water separation tower through a pipeline I; a pipeline II is arranged at the top of the oil-water separation tower, and connected with a second valve and a vacuum pump in sequence; a hemispherical separation membrane is mounted at the outlet of the pipeline I; an oil discharge outlet is formed in the hemispherical separation membrane, and connected with a third valve through an oil discharge pipe; the oil-water separation tower is mounted in a second liquid storage container; a flow guide pipe is mounted in the second liquid storage container, and connected with a water pump, a first valve, and the pipeline I between the sewage treatment tower and the oil-water separation tower in sequence. The tower-type sewage treatment unit and the using method have the benefits that a sewage treatment process is simplified, the sewage treatment efficiency is improved, the occupied area and the energy consumption are reduced, and energy sources are saved.
