According to the manufacture method of non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery of the present invention, comprise the steps: the step that electrode body is put into casing, electrode body has the positive pole that contains positive pole active material and the negative pole that contains negative pole active material with separator between positive pole A folded separator structure or a winding structure stacked between the negative electrode and the negative electrode; the step of putting a non-aqueous electrolyte that does not contain a flame retardant into the outer casing; a step of applying a voltage between the negative electrodes to charge the electrode body; a step of putting a flame retardant into the outer casing; and a step of sealing the outer casing. The method is characterized in that the step of charging is a step of charging an electrode body in a state where the surface of the positive electrode active material and the surface of the negative electrode active material are in contact with a non-aqueous electrolyte substantially not containing a flame retardant. |
