titleOfInvention Floating transportation method for large open caisson or cofferdam
abstract The invention relates to bridge construction and provides a floating transportation method for a large open caisson or cofferdam. The floating transportation method is used for transporting the open caisson or the cofferdam to the position of a pier of a bridge in a floating mode. The open caisson or the cofferdam comprises an annular well wall and a plurality of compartments which are arranged on the well wall. Multiple well holes are formed through the compartments and the well wall. A bottom supporting plate is arranged below the open caisson or the cofferdam to seal the well holes before the open caisson or the cofferdam is placed in water, and a plurality of cross beams and a plurality of longitudinal beams are arranged on the upper surface of the bottom supporting plate in a staggered mode. The open caisson or the cofferdam is made to slide into a riverway through an air bag, the bottom supporting plate, the cross beams and the longitudinal beams are dismantled after the open caisson or the cofferdam is transported to the specified position in a floating mode, and the open caisson or the cofferdam sinks into the riverway. According to the floating transportation method, the bottom supporting plate is used as a flotation assisting tool, the drainage area of the open caisson or the cofferdam is increased, and thus the open caisson or the cofferdam can be transported in the floating mode conveniently; in addition, the open caisson or the cofferdam is placed into water in a sliding mode through the air bag, and thus the difficulty of placing the open caisson or the cofferdam into water is effectively lowered; the requirement for the strength of the bottom supporting plate can be effectively guaranteed through the cross beams and the longitudinal beams which are arranged in the staggered mode, and thus the stability of floating transportation is improved.
