titleOfInvention High fire retardation and high strength polyethylene composite material
abstract The present invention discloses a high fire retardation and high strength polyethylene composite material, which comprises, by mass, 60-80% of polyethylene, 5-15% of nanometer carbon fibers, 10-15% of a fire retardation agent, 3-8% of an ethylene-octene copolymer POE, 0.5-2% of glycidyl methacrylate, 0.1-1% of pentaerythrityl tetrastearate, 0.1-0.5% of an antioxidant, and 0.1-1% of a colorant, wherein the nanometer carbon fibers are the gas phase growing nanometer carbon fibers with a diameter of 50-200 nm, and the surface is subjected to a modification treatment with oxygen plasma. The high fire retardation and high strength polyethylene composite material of the present invention has beneficial effects of high fire retardation, high strength, high modulus, high heat resistance, high wear resistance, high corrosion resistance, good processability, and excellent electrical property, and can be used in a variety of environmental conditions, wherein the oxygen index can achieve more than or equal to 30.
