abstract |
This application relates to a process for the removal of hydrazine from hydroxylamine solutions. In particular the present invention relates to a process for reducing or eliminating the amount of hydrazine in hydroxylamine free base containing hydrazine by treating said hydroxylamine free base with a scavenger and the hydroxylamine free base thus obtained, and its use in the manufacture of hydroxamated polymers for use as a flocculant in the Bayer process. |
