abstract The present invention discloses a waste engine oil based quenching oil, which is characterized by being prepared from the following raw materials by weight: 35-40 parts of waste engine oil, 45-50 parts of 100SN base oil, 3-5 parts of tall oil, 2-3 parts of hydrogenated castor oil, 1-2 parts of sesame oil, 1-2 parts of Sorbitan monopalmitate, 1-2 parts of isooctyl palmitate, 0.5-1 part of butyl epoxy stearate, 0.3-0.5 part of an antioxidant BHT, 0.1-0.2 part of poloxamer and 1-2 parts of a compound additive. The present invention recycles of waste engine oil for the production of quenching oil; the quenching oil has the characteristics of stable cooling capacity, good thermal oxidation stability and long service life, and the workpiece after quenching by the quenching oil meets the requirements; and the invention is conducive to environmental protection and recycling of resources, and has good economic and environmental benefits.
