titleOfInvention Fluorescence Filter Spectral Compensation
abstract A device that provides incident light on oral structures that can be switched between two states. In a first state, incident light induces autofluorescence of the decay by-products, and a filter positioned between the oral structure and the user's eyes or visualization device produces a visually distinguishable appearance of said autofluorescence depending on whether the tissue is healthy or not . In the second state, incident light has a color composition that produces a substantially "white" spectrum after passing through the filter.
