The conductive particles are arranged to form a plurality of conductive paths from the first side to the second side of the dielectric material, and each conductive path is formed by at least the plurality of conductive particles. The discontinuous layer includes a plurality of non-interconnected portions that cover a portion but not all of the first side of the dielectric material such that exposed portions of the first side of the dielectric material below are exposed through the discontinuous layer, and the discontinuous layer The layers facilitate electronic coupling together of a plurality of conductive paths from the first side to the second side of the dielectric material.
