abstract An impact-resistant coating for ships is prepared from raw materials in parts by weight as follows: 5-10 parts of 2,2-dibromo-4-chloroacetophenone, 5-9 parts of ethylene propylene rubber, 4-7 parts of isothiazolinone, 2-6 parts of magnesium silicate, 7-11 parts of DER732 epoxy resin, 1-4 parts of a mold inhibitor, 2-6 parts of propylene glycol, 7-11 parts of N,N-dimethylethanolamine, 6-12 parts of calcium isooctanoate, 2-4 parts of di-tert-butyl peroxide, 5-8 parts of methyl isobutyl ketone, 1-3 parts of a mixed solvent and 1-5 parts of polyamide. The coating has the benefits as follows: the coating is good in adhesion, impact-resistant and capable of well protecting ship bodies and causes no pollution to oceans.
