abstract The invention discloses water-proof adhesive for a carton. The water-proof adhesive is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 6-13 parts of an acrylic acid, 8-11 parts of octyl acrylate, 2-6 parts of epoxy resin, 9-14 parts of an epoxy soybean oil, 2-7 parts of a dihydroxy methyl propanoic acid, 3-8 parts of a catalyst, 11-16 parts of nanometer sepiolite powder, 7-11 parts of modified starch, 2-6 parts of the acrylic acid, 9-14 parts of potassium permanganate, 6-10 parts of acetic acid ethylene emulsion, 5-10 parts of carboxymethyl cellulose, 1-3 parts of neopentyl glycol and 4-9 parts of aluminum tripolyphosphate. The water-proof adhesive disclosed by the invention is very high in adhering property and good in water-proof effect, and harm caused by long-term use of the water-proof adhesive to a human body is avoided.
