abstract The invention relates to a preparation method and application of a low-temperature polyether type heavy oil demulsifier. The method comprises the synthesis of alkylphenol polyoxyethylene propylene ether polymer and the preparation of the polyether type heavy oil demulsifier. The heavy oil demulsifier uses alkylphenol polymers to react with polyoxyethylene propylene ether, and uses solid superacid as a catalyst to initiate polymerization of alkylphenols to obtain polyether macromolecular compounds. Then add a regulator and a solvent to obtain a polyether type high-efficiency demulsifier. Tests have shown that this demulsifier has a fast dehydration rate for heavy oil, high dehydration rate, good effect at low temperature, saves a lot of heating energy, and uses a relatively small amount, which reduces the cost of demulsification and dehydration of crude oil. Demulsification and dehydration have important practical significance.
