abstract Belonging to polymer processing technologies and belonging to the field of natural high polymer materials, the invention relates to a preparation method for a degradable green and environment-friendly material. The invention discloses a preparation method for a degradable feather protein/sodium carboxymethylcellulose composite membrane. The method includes: cleaning and drying market collected waste feathers, then extracting a feather protein solution, mixing the feather protein solution with a sodium carboxymethylcellulose solution in certain proportion, adding a certain amount of glycerin as the plasticizer, and employing a pouring method to prepare the feather protein/sodium carboxymethylcellulose composite membrane. The composite membrane has the characteristics of simple processing technology, wide feather source, and good mechanical properties and biodegradability, thus being a novel green and environment-friendly material able to replace synthetic high polymer materials.
