abstract The invention discloses a trimeric surfactant with a head group containing a hydroxyl group, the structural formula of which is: R 1 =C 8 H 17 -, C 10 H 21 -, C 12 H 25 -, C 14 H 29 - or C 16 H 33 -. The preparation method of the hydroxyl-containing trimerized surfactant of the head group comprises that phenol, formaldehyde and diethanolamine carry out the Mannich condensation reaction to obtain 2,4,6-three [bis(2-hydroxyethyl)aminomethyl]phenol and 2 , 4,6-tris[bis(2-hydroxyethyl)aminomethyl]phenol undergoes quaternization reaction with brominated alkanes to obtain the trimeric surfactant containing hydroxyl groups in the head group in two steps. The raw material source involved in the invention is simple, the cost is low, and the preparation process is simple, and the obtained product has good surface activity.
