abstract The invention discloses a pH responsive type epoxy alloy material and a preparation method thereof. The pH responsive type epoxy alloy material is mainly prepared from the following components: (A) 3-97 parts by mass of a pH responsive monomer; and (B) 97-3 parts by mass of epoxy resin. After homopolymerisation or copolymerization, the size of the epoxy alloy material changes along with the external acid-base environment. According to the invention, the pH responsive polymer and the epoxy resin are blended to form an alloy so as to improve the mechanical properties of the pH responsive polymer, reduce the cost, and prepare high value-added epoxy resin. The alloy material prepared by the invention can be used in the detection field, or other intelligent detection, functional materials and other fields.
