The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a lithium battery exhibiting high residual capacity after high-temperature storage; and an electrolyte solution used in said lithium battery. This electrolyte solution includes a non-aqueous solvent and an electrolyte salt, and is characterized by including 0.001-9 mass% of a compound represented by general formula (1) (in general formula (1): R1, R2, and R3 each represent hydrogen, fluorine, a C1-20 alkyl group, or a C1-20 fluorinated alkyl group, and may be the same or different, with the caveat that at least one from among R1, R2, and R3 is fluorine or a fluorinated alkyl group). |
