abstract The invention relates to avian influenza virus miRNA as well as identification, detection and an application thereof. Concretely, micro RNA expression spectrum level of a sample of an animal suffering from avian influenza is detected, and specific micro RNA, namely miR-HA-3p is initially screened out. Tests prove that the miR-HA-3p taken as a micro RNA marker can be used for effectively detecting avian influenza viruses and avian influenza; besides, symptoms of the avian influenza can be effectively relieved and the avian influenza can be effectively treated by inhibiting functions of the miR-HA-3p. Based on the micro RNA disclosed by the invention initially, a detection reagent, a therapeutic agent and corresponding kits can be developed, and the developed reagents and kits can be applied to detection and treatment of the avian influenza (such as H5N1).
