abstract The invention discloses a modified polybutylene telephthalate material. The material is prepared from the following components by weight: 45 to 55 parts of polybutylene telephthalate, 5 to 10 parts of a wear-resisting agent, 35 to 45 parts of glass fiber, 0.5 to 1 part of a lubricant, 0.2 to 0.4 part of an anti-oxidant and 0.6 to 1 part of a coupling agent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing 45 to 55 parts of polybutylene telephthalate, 5 to 10 parts of the wear-resisting agent, 0.5 to 1 part of the lubricant, 0.2 to 0.4 part of the anti-oxidant and 0.6 to 1 part of the coupling agent at a high speed with a high-speed mixer; and pouring the uniformly mixed materials into a screw extruder, adding 35 to 45 parts of glass fiber into the screw extruder through a glass fiber feeding inlet and carrying out stranding pelletizing so as to obtain the modified polybutylene telephthalate material. The modified polybutylene telephthalate material has the advantages of lightness, self lubricating performance, small friction coefficient, stable size, small friction damage in use, etc.
