abstract The invention discloses a poultry breeding method, especially a method for breeding poultry with a fermentation bed. According to a technical scheme in the invention, the fermentation bed mainly comprises the following components: saw dust and rice hull, which are used as litter, wherein the thickness of the litter is in a range of 30 to 50 cm; 20 to 40 kg of maize meal or wheat bran, which is used as a nutritious auxiliary material; and 2 to 4 kg of probiotics. The above-mentioned components and water are uniformly mixed in proportion under stirring. The method provided by the invention has the following characteristics: operating cost is reduced; labor is saved, and a chicken house needs not to clean everyday; feed is saved; and since chickens live on the fermentation bed, the chickens are healthier and hardly prone to diseases, and cost for medication is reduced.
