abstract Embodiments herein relate to methods of making roll-formed objects comprising bulk solidifying amorphous alloys of metal alloys and articles thereof. Roll forming involves forming a portion of a bulk solidifying amorphous alloy at a temperature greater than the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the metal alloy. Roll forming is performed such that the time-temperature profile of the portion during roll-forming does not traverse across a region bounding a crystalline region of the metal alloy in a time-temperature-transformation (TTT) diagram of the metal alloy.
