abstract | The invention is applicable to the field of organic electroluminescent materials and provides an organic iridium metal complex as well as a preparation method and application thereof. A general molecular structural formula of the organic iridium metal complex is shown in the specification, wherein in the general molecular structural formula, R is an aromatic group. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing an iridium-containing chloro-bridged bipolymer; carrying out ligand exchange reaction by utilizing the iridium-containing chloro-bridged bipolymer to prepare the organic iridium metal complex shown in the general molecular structural formula (I). The organic iridium metal complex takes 3-(substituted fluorene-2'-yl)isoquinoline as an iridium metal ligand main structure and acetylacetone as an auxiliary ligand, and a large-volume aromatic group is introduced to a 9-C site of a fluorene ring in the ring metal ligand 3-(substituted fluorene-2'-yl)isoquinoline, so that the organic iridium metal complex has high red light color purity and luminous efficiency. |
