The present invention relates to a thiodiene metal complex and its application. The thiodiene metal complex is a compound represented by formula I. The thiodiene-type metal complex provided by the invention not only has good solubility in organic solvents, but also can be copolymerized with the monomers constituting the goggles base material with infrared absorption properties, and the obtained copolymer has good infrared absorption properties. Absorption properties, can be used to prepare goggles with infrared absorption properties. In formula I, R is a straight-chain or branched alkenyl group or a phenyl-substituted straight-chain or branched alkenyl group, and M is a metal element contained in Group VIII and Group IB of the periodic table of elements. |
