titleOfInvention Method for casting embedded composite metal
abstract The invention discloses a method for casting embedded composite metal. The method comprises: selecting a reinforcing material type and processing to form a reinforced unit body with a certain geometrical shape according to a base material of metal casting and the structure to be cast; pretreating a surface of the reinforced unit body; assembling the reinforced unit body into a biomimetic reinforced framework according to the requirement for the embedding and casting position and the solidifying contraction feature of the base material, and placing the framework in a casting mold or directly placing the reinforced unit body in the casting mold according to the design position to form a biomimetic reinforced framework; preheating the casting mold equipped with the biomimetic reinforced framework; and injecting the liquefied base material into the preheated casting mold to form embedded composite casting. The method enables good interface bonding between the base material and the reinforcing material. The member manufactured by the method can reach higher toughness, strength and abrasive resistance, and the method is not only suitable for compounding by taking ferrous metal as the base material, but also for compounding by taking non-ferrous metal as the base material.
